Thank you so much for being the one person I could talk to. Thank you for never leaving my side through the tough and ugly times. Thank you for being my rock. Thank you for being understanding. Thank you for being patient, kind, friendly and supportive. Thank you for accepting me in my time of illness and despair, and looking on the inside, not the outside. But most of all … thank you for truly loving me – like no one else did. I love you Shawn.

We never said “goodbye” … I knew that you were leaving but we never said goodbye. You were gone before I knew it, And only God knows why. A million times I needed you, A million times I cried. If love alone could have saved you, You never would have died. In life I loved you dearly In death I love you still. In my heart you’ll always hold a place, that no one else can fill. It broke my heart to lose you, But you didn’t go alone. Part of me went with you then and the day God took you home.
