Edward “Ed” E. Zilkey, 61, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed from this life on June 25, 2019. He was born in Ft. Worth, Texas on April 19, 1958 to the late Gene and Billy Jean Zilkey. Ed loved the Dallas Cowboys, golfing and spending time with his friends and family.
He is also preceded in death by his wife Core Sue Zilkey. Ed is survived by his three children Gena Floyd, Royce Zilkey, John Zilkey; grandchild, Gabriel Leslie; brother Rick Zilkey and a host of other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Elks Lodge in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas. 501-982-3400

Ed was a good man great coworker and always willing to help a person out. Sorry to hear of his passing he will be missed, prayers for his family. And go Cowboys.

My name is Gordon Estes, I was friends with Eddie back in the day in San Angelo. So sorry to hear about his passing. I have lots of great memories with Eddie riding up and down the drag. I hadn’t seen him in 40 years. Sorry to hear this.

Oh the memories I had of when I was little. Taught me my 1 st bit of Spanish… yes it was a cuss word lol… he was loving and funny and interested. I know he was loved. He was my god father I will always have a special place in my heart
