Richard E. Vangelder, 70, of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed from this life on June 13, 2019. He was born on April 8, 1949 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin to the late Earl and Easther Vangelder. Richard served proudly in the United States Navy; loved horses, cooking and spending time with his friends and family.
He is also preceded in death by his wife Linda Vangelder. Richard leaves behind his son Matthew Waters (Megan); sister Kristi Schultz; grandchildren Kali, Owen, Kian, Caden and a host of other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 11:00am at First Lutheran Church 105 Village Road Hot Springs, Arkansas 71913.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas 501-982-3400

Dear friend we had great times together when you were in California. Thank you for who you are. Will miss you and never forget you.
Richard and I had a lot of great times together in high school. My wife and I are so sorry to hear of his passing. Thoughts and prayers are with the family.
