Tammy was always such a kind loving friend to me! She welcomed me and my kids into her home anytime we visited. She always had encouraging things to say to me and was fun to be around. I’ve known James and Tammy a very long time and this breaks my heart to know she is no longer here. James, we love you and are praying for you daily. As much as it hurts I know she is in a better place than we are. People as kind and good as Tammy have a specail seat saved in Heaven. Rest in peace, Tammy. We love and will miss you! 💙💔😢

I met Tammy almost 5 years ago. We became best friends right away. I loved her and I know without a doubt she loved me. She helped me through my cancer, taking me to dr appts and chemo treatments. She worried over me like a sister would. I was beyond shocked over her passing. I honestly still can’t believe it. She loved people so much but her greatest love was her husband, James. Fly high sister, I’m sad you are gone but I’m so happy you are no longer suffering. She always put everyone’s needs before her own. A true angel on Earth! I’m missing you so bad but I find comfort knowing I will see you again one day in Heaven. I love you. Rest in love my friend.

The best lady I have ever met.. such a pleasure of having her in my life wish that we could have had more time… my son Braxton sure loved her the only one he would even really talk to without being shy… her spirit is so beautiful and she will be greatly missed and loved by me, Braxton, and Mona… at least now the angels in heaven can have the blessings that we have had with her now… peace be with her and the loved ones she has left behind

We are shocked and heartbroken to lose Tammy so unexpectedly. She was our good friend and we will miss her terribly. We haven’t been friends very long but we feel like we’ve known Tammy and James for many years. She was always so good to us and we will be forever grateful to have had her friendship, if only for a season. Rest now, My Friend your work on earth is done. You will remain in our hearts forever.

My husband, sons and I are so saddened by the loss of this sweet, one-of-a-kind lady. Hers was a face that I looked forward to seeing every day, because even on the dreariest and RAINiest of days – she was truly a ray of sunshine. She always thought of the bright side of things, and that is truly a gift.
I am a little “stand-offish” with people sometimes, but sweet Tammy would have none of that! 🙂 She persisted until she drew me into the fold that is our newspaper family. We truly loved this lady, and we extend all our sympathy and love to James and all of Tammy’s family and friends.
I will try to approach each day with a little bigger smile in her memory. She will be missed everyday. Rest In Peace, sweet friend.

I am going to miss talking with you every day. I wish I could give you a “REAL” hug you ask for on the internet. I can’t believe this has happened. It’s hard to rationalize because we just spoke the day before. I remember when your mother was pregnant with you. R.I.P. Tell your Mom, Dad, Mary and Billy I said hello. Save a place for me. Love you.

when you took your vows and said until death do we part you lied, your marriage, your bond Made two people two spirits become one. even though she is gone her spirit continues on she is still here close staying so near to the one she holds dear just because you may not see her doesn’t mean she’s gone she’s not their she wants you to be her backbone she needs you to be strong and know that when you walk you never walk alone keep living life until your life is through never have any doubt she still here and she will always love you and when your life is over that’s when you will find she’s been with you the entire time then she will take your hand as you both stand before the gate where have you been why are you so late she tells the saint I couldn’t leave my husband when he still needed me I waited for him the same way he would have waited for me now that we’re together again please open heaven’s gates for me

  • Dee O’bryan Posted June 9, 2019 1:41 PM

Tammy had a loving kindness that few people in this life exhibit. She accepted people just the way God made them, never judgmental, never rejecting, never mean spirited towards a living soul. She openly praised the Lord. God said in His Word if we were ashamed of Him here on earth He would be ashamed of us in Heaven. She was patient and good. It has been my very great privilege to call her friend here on earth. I take comfort in the knowledge we will see her again. The Bible says we shall be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, that we must first take on mortality and then we become immortal in an instant after we step through death’s door. Our journey lies ahead, those of us who remain here, but her eternity has just begun. I am praying God give strength and comfort to her family and to all her friends who will miss her until we meet again. God Bless you James. Bobby and I are deeply sorry for your loss.
