Teri Ann Boone, age 74

Teri Ann Boone, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, June 16, 2019, in Greenbrier, Arkansas at the age of 74.

She was born on Feb. 15, 1945, in Maywood, California, a daughter of Irene Jessie Duennerman and Kenneth Orvil Gillham.

She raised her three children in Desert Hot Springs, California and Morongo Valley, California before settling down in Enola, Arkansas. She was a hard-working, strong, compassionate and spirited woman who inspired love and joy in all who knew her. She enjoyed listening to music, reading, writing, drawing, pottery and playing Solitaire. She was a devoted and caring mother, grandmother and friend. She was also a phenomenal hugger.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Joanne; and her first husband, John Riley Boone.

Teri is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Kirtus Lee Boone and his wife, Lisa Boone, and John Richard Boone and his wife, Helen “Jenny” Boone; her daughter, Jaclynn Jaye Diaz; her long-time partner, Rudolph “Rudy” Holse and their dog, Moses; her grandchildren, Kristul Aliceann Gifford and Devynne Irene Diaz; and her great-grandchildren, Kaylee Rose Gifford and Brooklyn Marie Gifford.

Our mom, grandma, partner, friend was a good-humored, intelligent and independent woman who touched everyone in her life in a profound way. She will be deeply missed every day.

Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and caregivers at Greenbrier Nursing Home and Rehabilitation and Kindred Hospice for providing invaluable care to our mom.

    I love you grandma I’m coming to terms with the fact your not in pain or suffering anymore thank you for the best 29 years every year i was with you was amazing i hope i make you proud and every now and again give me a sign that no matter what i can always look up to the sky and know your there
