Thomas E. Craig, 70 of Searcy, Arkansas passed from this life on June 23, 2019. He was born in Newport, Arkansas on August 10, 1948 to the late Edward L. “E.L.” and Lucille Craig. Thomas enjoyed being in the outdoors, watching westerns and was an avid World War ll enthusiast.
He is survived by his daughter Brittany Smith (Robert); wife Jan Craig; grandchildren Ella Katherine and Reid Patterson Smith; sister Beverly Ann Mahar; nephews Craig and Kevin Mahar; ex-wife and close friend Margo Shoffner and a host of other loving family and friends.
A memorial service will be held in his honor on Friday, June 28, 2019 at 1:00pm at A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas. 501-982-3400

I will miss my seeing Thomas
My deepest regrets to his family!!
I will miss him very much. We taught ,fished, hunted and camped together for 44 years . He was a wonderful friend.
I was blessed to be Thomas’ pastor several years. He was a unique individuals and blessed me each visit we had. My sympathy to his family.
I enjoyed working with him at Ahlf Junior High.. He was a good Science teacher and Friend.
I taught school with Thomas. He was such a great guy that I had a lot of respect for. I am sad to hear about his death but I know he is in a better place. My condolences to the family
