Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Chena K. Bartlett, 33

Chena Kimberlane Crowson Bartlett, 33, of Hartman, Arkansas died on July 3, 2019. She was born on June 17, 1986 in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was named after the Chena River in Alaska. She was the only child of Joyce Ann Kyle Aston.

Chena graduated Valedictorian from Westside High School in 2004.

Chena enjoyed rock music, movies, and literature. Her favorite author was Larry McMurtry and she absolutely loved the Lonesome Dove novel and movie mini-series. She had a voice and laugh that everyone who knew her easily recognized.

Chena was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Ann Kyle, grandfather, James E. Kyle, grandmother, Lavell Kyle, and uncle, James Allen Kyle.

Chena is survived by family and friends who will mourn her loss for the rest of their lives. She is survived by Marsha, Greg, and Sydney Tindell who were both her cousins and guardian family after the loss of Chena’s grandmother, her father Tom Crowson, her Uncle Bruce and Aunt Jennifer Kyle, her Great Aunts Joan Stiles and Fannie Fowler, her dedicated friends Amanda and Jerry White, Cheryl Robinson, Ashley Bartlett, Dana Roberts Reeves, Cheryl Jarvis, Sam Timmerman Keeling, her cousins Joe Fowler, Michelle Fowler, Rachel Kyle Chandler, Mikayla Kyle, and numerous other cousins.

I loved her in so many ways- as a cousin, daughter and friend. She was a joy to have a conversation with and my life has a huge empty place knowing I cannot see or talk to her here on this earth. I am heartbroken that there was not more sunshine in her life. She will forever be considered a part of my family! I love you Chena Pana Dana!!! Love, Dumplin’

The last couple years Chena showed me that I could trust again and have a awesome friend! We both had diabetes and she would get on my butt a lot but I knew she just cared! One time I was in icu and I hadn’t talked to Chen’s in like a week and I heard her laugh at the nurse, I told my mom that I had just heard her laugh and to go c if she was ok! My mom did and came back to my room and said how did u know that was Chena? I said mom nobody laughs like Chena I would know her laugh anywhere! Girl I am missing u so bad!! We were supposed to get old together and call the fire department just to look at hott guys together! Lol… trust me I’m still going to do that, so just wait! I love u girl!!!
