Alfonzo Baker, 87, born on December 3, 1931 in Eagle Township, Arkansas of Pulaski County to his parents Joshua C. Baker of Alabama and Mary Wandick Perkins-Baker of Mississippi. He gained his angel wings on August 19, 2019.
He worked as a butcher for 30 years at Finkbeiner/Smoky Hollow Meat Company in Little Rock. He also retired from Pinkerson Security. He loved to farming, welding and carpentry.
He united in Holy Matrimony with Sharon M. Harris on March 15, 2005 after his wife Juanita Pridgeon-Baker passed away on January 18, 1986 when she left her seven children with her memories.
He is preceded in death by his siblings Emma Lee Perkins-Edwards, Luvenia Perkins-White, Cliff Perkins, Hurby Perkins, Milton Baker, Hilton Baker and John Henry Baker.
Alfonzo Baker leaves to cherish his memories his children Alfonzo Baker, Jr., Kenneth Ray Baker, Vernestine Steward (Sherman), Mary Bryant (Joe, Jr.), Linda Baker-Brown (Lawrence), Emma Baker-Dye (Norman) and Deborah Forney (Jim); siblings Elonzo Baker (Freddie), Luther Baker, Elmira Baker-Pierce (Colon), and Lovie Perkins-Pace; nine grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
