Delbert always seemed able to roll with whatever came his way, including setbacks or disappointment. He had a pleasant nature and wonderful sense of humor. I know you in the family know this, but I want you to know I admired him for these qualities. Hope that good memories from the past will help to brighten these dark hours.

Carol I know you are filled with disbelief that Delbert is gone. The Lord will sustain you and give you comfort in the days ahead. Delbert was a good friend and a classmate we will miss. God bless you.

Stopped by a convenience store in Pampa today and by chance picked up a paper. Noticed your loved one and my classmate, Delbert, had died. He was a year ahead, but we played football together. What a tough, handsome and good guy he was. He was straight forward, honest and gave his all. He could whip your ass if the need arose We haven’t seen or spoken in all these years. But I have such fond memories of him. Hope your fond memories sustain you. May Delbert rest peacefully in God’s love and grace.
