Well, I think we both thought that we’d have more time to say goodbye and just thinking that brings a tear to my eye. You were a beautiful, honest and loving friend to me and I’m so happy to have known you. Thank you so much for all of those late nights you spent with me, just talking and sharing stories about our lives. You allowed me in your heart and I’m a better person having known you. I’ll miss your sass,. I’ll miss your smile. Ill miss your cooking and ill miss shopping with you at Goodwill, flea markets and yard sales. (Nobody can spot great deals like you do, and I do mean NOBODY!). Thank you for sharing your friendship with me. I will cherish those memories so much. I love you, Laurie!! Your song may have ended, but your melody remains.

I’ll never forget you taking care of me while I was sick or telling me to ignore the sizes in clothes we found at the Goodwill. You were one of my favorite people and you will be missed dearly.
