Jeffrey (JD) Hamma, 60

Jeffrey (JD) Hamma, 60, of Cabot passed away on October 8, 2019.  He was born on November 22, 1958 in Oakland, California to the Robert and Nancy Hamma.

He was a loving and caring husband, brother and friend.  He proudly served in the United States Air Force for 20 years.  He enjoyed canoeing and spending time outdoors.

He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Kim Hamma of Cabot; sister Teri Hamma of California; his mother Nancy Hamma of Clarksville, Arkansas; his father Robert Hamma of California and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at 12:00 PM at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 Maryland, North Little Rock, Arkansas.

Arrangements have been entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas.  501-982-3400

    One of the first loadmasters I met when I got to the 50th. JD was one cool dude and I learned a lot from him. Way too soon, rest on peace JD.

    So hard to believe! JD was part of a group of guys that were family to this Air Force brat growing up. I would love to share a memory but there are too many to think about just one. The smile and the twinkle in his eye in the pic says it all….I can only guess what he would be thinking. Though I haven’t seen him for a while, he will always be part of my childhood and never forgotten.
