John Calvin Wheeler, 88 of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed from this life on October 9, 2019. He was born on December 6, 1930 in North Little Rock, Arkansas to the late John Capps and Velma Wheeler. John Calvin served in the United States Air Force; enjoyed wood working, gardening and bird hunting.
He is also preceded in death by his brother Austin Wheeler.
John Calvin leaves behind his wife Ethel Wheeler; nephew Leon Wheeler (Sharon); niece Barbara Brockinton (Kyle) and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 10, 2019 from 5-6 pm in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas, 72076.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, October 11, 2019 at 11:00am at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
