Regatha “Renie” Alberta Zwan, 78, of Jacksonville passed away on October 18, 2019 after a 3-year courageous battle with bladder cancer. She was born on June 26, 1941 in Ellen, Germany to the late Johann Jakob and Helena Maria Zwan.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to everyone who knew her. She loved to volunteer with the Jacksonville Friends of the Animals; watching movies; knitting and spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her sister Johanna “Hannie” Zwan.
Renie leaves behind her loving daughters Hedy Cass (Martin), Helen Cop (Rene) and Stella Hoff (Hans); her grandchildren Kim, Joshua, Eva, Dominique and Raymond; her great-grandchildren and a close friend Christine Henderson.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Jacksonville Friends of Animals, PO Box 386, Jacksonville, Arkansas 72078.
