Ruby Lee Bridges, age 81

Ruby Lee Bridges, 81, of Cabot passed away on November 21, 2019.  She was born on March 14, 1938 to the late Ernest and Erma Hardgrave in Clarksville, Arkansas.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend who always enjoyed having her family close.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband George Bridges and grandson Patrick Chiles.

Ruby leaves behind to cherish her memories her children Ann Moore (JD) of Harker Heights, Texas, Carl Bridges (LaDonna) of Van Alstyne, Texas, David Bridges (Tracy) of Copperas Cove, Texas, Loren Bridges (Jo Ann) of Cabot, Arkansas and Pam Smith (Bryan) of Jacksonville, Arkansas; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; siblings Leon Hardgrave of Clarksville, Arkansas, Cathy Midgett of Paradise, California, and Shirley Magana of Van Nuys, California; her aunts Avis Pelcher of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Mavis Brown of Edmond, Oklahoma as well as many other friends and relatives.

Visitation will be Monday, November 25, 2019 from 9:30 until 10:30 A.M., A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville with graveside service at 11:00 A.M. at Concord Cemetery, Lonoke, Arkansas

      Mrs.Bridges , truly good old school and good people some would say. I say she lived a life people could take notes from in all kinds of ways. Prayers to Loren and family. Enjoyed the snacks and homemade peanut butter cookies over the years. Enjoy heaven Mrs.Bridges

    I’m so sadden by the lose of my dear aunt ruby.. such a loving wife ,mother , grandmother and great grandmother . You will love I’n our hearts for ever until we meet another in each other’s arms in the precious kingdom god as his children. Aunt ruby I will miss you. Very much .. you’ve always opened up your arms and home to me. You will be missed ,, I can’t wait until the day comes I will see your smiling face agin . Know that you’ve let a strong presence with us while your journey here in earth . We will Alyssa love you. And you hold a dear place in my heart for now and always.
