David H. Manson, age 89

David H. Manson, 89, of Little Rock died in his home January 23, 2020 He was born July 9th, 1930 at Carlisle, Arkansas to his parents John Harley Manson and Margaret Belle Seaton Manson. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Evelyn Love and Lydia Barlow as well as Richard and Ronny Barlow. He is survived by daughters Marilyn Manson – Hayes and Susan Schafer, by his son Richard Manson, a step daughter Darla Maness as well as numerous nephews, nieces, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. 

For more than a decade, Mr. Manson taught biology at North Little Rock High School and later Northeast High School. His lifelong pursuits included breeding and selling horses, goats and calves. No memorial service is planned. Arrangements have been entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street,  Jacksonville, Arkansas. 501-982-3400

    Prayers for the family. Thanks for sharing him for the past 12 years. He really enjoyed his goats, calves, and horses when he was healthy enough to take care of them. Rest in peace David.

    Had dinner with him many a time at the old Western Sizzlin on Geyer Springs. He was also my Biology teacher in High School in N.L.R .He Loved his animals and his Women also, had many a laugh with him, will miss him much. Wish the family Condolences.

    Mr. Mason was my favorite teacher at NLR Northeast. The study habits that I learned from him, I still use today. He will be missed. Class of 75
