Dennis A. Baxter, 64

Dennis A. Baxter, 64, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed from this life on January 23, 2020. He was born on March 19, 1955 in Los Angeles to Burl and Sandra Baxter. Dennis worked as a chef for many years until finding great joy working as a stagehand and became a member of IATSE local 204 in 2016. His greatest joy in life however was his family who he loved dearly.

He is preceded in death by his brother Jeffery Baxter. Dennis leaves behind his parents, Burl and Sandra Baxter; sons Dennis A. Baxter ll, Burl L. Baxter ll, Mathew Baxter, Joshua Nightshade; grandchildren, Mathew Baxter ll, Angel Nightshade; brother, Richard Baxter and a host of other loving family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorial donations to be made in his honor to CARTI foundation 8901 CARTI Way Little Rock, AR 72205.

A time of visitation for family and friends to celebrate Dennis’s life will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 from 6-8pm at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville, Arkansas.

    It was a pleasure taking care of Mr. Dennis in his ICU stay. I was so sorry to hear of his passing. I’m glad he had the opportunity to be surrounded by his family. He was such a sweet man with a great sense of humor. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
