Howard M. Williams, 91

Howard M. Williams, 91 of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed from this life on January 1, 2020. He was born on March 13, 1928 in Natchitoches, Louisiana. Howard enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating and spending time with his family and friends. He served in the United States Air Force; was a 32nd degree Mason, past Master and a 50 year member of Jacinto Lodge; member of Shriner’s International; a Rainbow Advisor Assembly #43 and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Jacksonville.

Howard is preceded in death by his parents; one sister; wife Anita June Williams; daughter Vicki June Comstock and grandson Ryan Howard Jones. He leaves behind two daughters, Anita and Sandra; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A celebration of his life will be held at First United Methodist Church 308 W. Main St. Jacksonville, AR on Monday, January 6, 2020 with a time of visitation from 10-10:45am and memorial services to follow at 11:00am with Rev. Nathan Kilbourne officiating.

    Mr Williams will be missed. I remember him teasing me at all the sleepovers with Anita. My thoughts are with all the family.

    I learned so much from him, he wasn’t just my employer, he was my friend. There is not a day goes by that I don’t think of Howard Williams and the advice he gave me. He will always be missed!!

    Anita so sorry for your loss. I was in Arkansas and stopped by the office but no one was in I would like to have visited with him one last time.

    He was the greatest man I had the pleasure of knowing. He had so much knowledge about slot of things that’s because he had been through a lot of things in his 91 yrs I’m most definitely a better person have knowing him and having him in my life nobody ever really takes a second look at me but he did ,I met that man at 430 in the morning 12 yrs ago and was in his office 20 mins and he hired me to work with Barry where I stayed working for him for many yrs I’m blessed for the time I got to spend with him !! The world has truly lost a great man today !! Tell Mrs June we love and miss her Mr.Howard it’s time to go home with her may you rest in peace!! You will surely be missed here farewell my friend till we meet again!!
