Brenda Lee Smithwick, 71

Brenda Lee Smithwick, 71, of Hot Springs passed away on March 10, 2020.  She was born on August 18, 1948 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to Thomas (Dick) and Kathryn (McBryde) Hoover. 

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.  She loved spending time with her family and friends.  She worked as a bank teller and worked for the City of Hot Springs for many years. She attended Legacy Church (First Assembly of God) in Hot Springs.

She leaves behind her loving husband Charles Smithwick; her mother Kathryn Owen; her son Christopher Lee Parr (Lori); her step-son Keith Smithwick; her grandchildren Garrett Parr, Caroline Parr, Corey Smithwick, Taylor Smithwick, Bailey Smithwick and Aiden Smithwick; her great-grandchildren Aubrey, Mikhail and Lily Mae; her sister Carol Hagan (Dick) and many extended family and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 10:30 A.M. with a Memorial service at 11:00 A.M. at Legacy Church (First Assembly of God), 3540 Central Avenue, Hot Springs, Arkansas.

    Kathryn and family, we were so saddened to read of your loss of Brenda. She was such a lovely person and I can not even imagine your sorrow. Our prayers are that the Lord will give you the comfort, peace and strength to help you through this sad time. We share your sorrow with you.

    Kathryn and family, So saddened by the loss of Brenda today. God has taken another one of his precious Angels home. Our prayers are with the family, and we love you guys, even if we have not kept in touch with each other. May God wrap his loving arms around you all and give you peace and comfort at this time and weeks to come. We share your sorrow and hurt.
