Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Ricci Jean Scott, age 59

Ricci Jean Scott, 59, of Hot Springs passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2020.  Ricci was a gentle and caring woman.  She touched many lives with her kindness.  Growing up, Ricci, was in the marching band and excelled on the flag team at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.  More recently, Ricci, was the manager at the Tobacco Superstore for ten years and then went on to graciously volunteer her time to work at Guardian Angels Cat Club Thrift Store; she was also a 10 Gallon donor for the American Red Cross Blood Bank in 2001.  She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She enjoyed going to the casino, watching old game shows and shopping at thrift stores, but the light of her life was her granddaughter Payton.  They were joined at the hip and always together whether cuddling up together, watching Lifetime movies or out shopping together.

Ricci was greeted in Heaven by her mother, Barbara Crawford and her Nana, Nida del Marmol.

Ricci will be missed by her husband, of 31 years, Donnie Scott; children Brittney Cannady (Christian), Amber Billiard (Brian), Dawn Nichold (David) and Aaron Meckley (Amanda); fourteen beautiful grandchildren; brothers Rhea Crawford and Gaylon Crawford; sisters Sandy Webb and LeeAnn Morales and many more beloved family members and friends.

The family would like to thank the Davita Dialysis Staff and Dr. Desoto and Dr. Jodi Sanson and her nurse Kristi for taking such good care of Ricci.

In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to The National Kidney Foundation at www.kidney.org

Arrangements have been entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas. 501-982-3400

I love you Ricci. Will always remember when your Mom brought you to our house. You were about 2. Had you dressed in a pink furry coat and hat. You were so pretty. We all fell in love with you. God bless you in Heaven.

Ricci our friendship was a span of 4 decades. Went we did see each other, we would catch up on time past. Your kindness, precious smile and your giggle will be missed. Rest in God’s arms. See you later, my friend.
