Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Sarah Maude Marie Webster, age 80

Sarah Maude Marie Webster, 80, of Jacksonville passed away at her home, surrounded by her children, on March 7, 2020. She was born in Newport, Arkansas on September 1, 1939 to Buck and Ruby Cornwell.

Marie grew up in Northeast Arkansas, where she later met and married George Webster, with whom she had five children. They lived in Leachville, AR and later moved to Jacksonville, AR where they raised their children and lived for many years. She was a proud mother and grandmother and truly loved spending time with her family. Marie was known for her sweet, loving, and caring personality, always there for those she loved. She enjoyed crocheting and used her talent to make doll dresses and other gifts for her grandchildren. She liked collecting knick-knacks, clocks, and dolls, of which she decorated her home with. She covered her walls with her unique clocks and pictures of her family. She also loved the beauty of flowers and always had some sort of flowers on display in her home. She valued what one might call the simple things in life, but to her, these were the greatest treasures of all- the love and thought behind a gift, the time people spent with her, and the happiness of those around her. She lived a long meaningful life and she fought bravely through all her health issues until the Lord called her home.

Marie is preceded in death by her parents, Buck and Ruby (Lowery) Cornwell; siblings; her daughters Linda Marie Webster, Deborah Jean Seigrist, and her ex-husband George Webster.

She leaves behind her son George David Webster, Malisa Boje (John), Sherri Brown (Rob); her 11 grandchildren Flora Roberts (Joe), Amanda Pruett, Natalie Heath, Marlena Hales (Nathan), Sarah Mashburn (Terry), Matthew Lantto, Ashley Lantto, Carlin Pruett, Angelica Boje, Kevin Brown and Kariyah Kirk; 12 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; former son-in-laws Marlon Pruett and Shawn Lantto; numerous nieces and nephews, her extended family, as well as many dear friends.
