Stanley Jay Weydemeyer, 82

Stanley Jay Weydemeyer, 82 of Noble, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2020 in Hot Springs, Arkansas.  He was born in Pontiac, Michigan, on July 11, 1937 to the late Mack and Helen Weydemeyer.

Stanley was a member at Rock Springs Baptist Church.  He was a para trooper in the U.S. Army during the Korean War after his time in the service he became a tool and die maker. When he wasn’t working he enjoyed spending time camping, hunting, fishing, playing cards and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Anne Weydemeyer of Noble, Louisiana, two daughters; Sharon Smith of Kansas City, KS, Cindy Dickson of Hot Springs, AR, four step children; Bobby Fruge, Benny Fruge, Lyle Fruge, Kayla Jo Ward, three grandchildren; Michael Dixon, Amanda Postell, Matthew Weydemeyer, two great grandchildren; Skylar and Logan Postell, a brother, Donald Weydemeyer (Georganne), and a sister Beverly Worden (Dale).Stanley is preceded in death by his parents, his son Kelly Mack Weydemeyer and a son in-law Brian Smith.

A family hosted memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at 11 AM at the home of Pat Smith, 1301 Saval Circle, Jessieville, Arkansas.

    Just now found out Stan passed away. We sure had a LOT of good times for many years. I loved that man! Prayers for all his family.
