Clay is a Brother in Christ to me also I remember him as a little guy that was a player on the Pic N Pac baseball team in the late 1960s that Jr. Williams and myself had the pleasure of coaching. Clay and Danny both were hustlers and fun to watch. To Rose, Danny and the rest of the family that because of Jesus we have a Living Hope and are wounded at the death of Clay but not defeated.

Clayton was one of several guys that help me make it though EMT school. I worked nights, there was a few times he would come up to the station on his off days just to see how I was doing and if he could help me with studying. He will be missed, RIP bud!! Prayers for all.

So sorry to hear this. I’ve known Clay since 1972, were choir together. Later after high school I date his late sister Kathy. You couldn’t ask for anybody better than Clay. Comes from a great family. I know he is up and singing in heaven. What a beautiful voice he had. God give strength to his mother and the rest of his family and friends. GOD BLESS.

Had many fun memories and laughs in choir. Even at the reunion with the choir a few years ago still shared those memories and laughs! You will be missed my friend! See you again in heaven and we can sing together again! RIP
