Connie Sandra Walker, age 73

Connie Sandra Walker, 73, passed away April 26, 2020. She was born in Griffin, GA, on March 29, 1947 to Leon and Doris (Moore) Aultman.  She met her husband, Ed Walker, at the county fair in Morrilton and they were married on May 25, 1968.  She was a secretary at Chicot Elementary and retired July 2009 from the LRSD after 22 years of loyal service.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Walker, her parents, and one sister, Veronica Batson

She is survived by her daughter, Kristi (Mark) Walker Townsend, of Farmersville, TX; her grandchildren Dustyn (Samantha Rodgers) Walker, of San Jose, CA, Sarah (Chris) Gutierrez, of Modesto, CA, Karis (Paul Wilkes) Townsend of El Cajon, CA, and Kyle (Robin) Townsend, of Hill Air Force Base, UT; 5 great grandchildren and many other family and friends.

A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.

    Connie was one of the sweetest people I have ever known. Her and Ed were there for me everyday for months in the hospital when Kendra was born not a day went bye that they were at my side even Kristi. They gave me strength and love. They will truly be missed! Kristi I’m so sorry for your loss my heart goes out to you. I love you !!!

    I’m am so sorry to hear. She and her husband were wonderful people. They walked past my house on their daily walks in the summer. She always stopped to say hello and ask of my family. I live on the next block over, but she was my neighbor. I will miss her and her husbands friendly smile and out chats. RIP
