Donald Joseph (Joe) Dougan, age 59, passed away at his home on April 15th, 2020. He was born October 29, 1960, in North Little Rock, Arkansas, to Robert Eugene Dougan and Genevieve (Berry) Dougan.
Joe Dougan grew up in and around North Little Rock, Arkansas and graduated from Northeast High School in 1978. As a youth Joe was an accomplished motocross and flat track racer. His love for the sport of motorcycles and his motorcycle community remained with him throughout his life. In his professional life he owned and operated Joe Dougan Construction and Excavating, LLC., a trade he learned early in life in his father’s asphalt paving business.
Joe was preceded in death by his father, Robert E. Dougan, and his daughter, Haley Dougan. He is survived by his mother, Genevieve Dougan, his son, Hayden Dougan, one sister, Debbie (Dougan) Bond (Chris), two brothers, David Dougan (Claire), and Doug Dougan (Janis), his family of friends, and his beloved dogs, Lucky, Stewart, Roxy, and Blackie.
Although a memorial service will not be held at this time, Joe will be remembered for his quick wit, his laughter, his smile, his generosity, and his love for animals.
