I had been trying to reach out to Gary via FB messenger and when he didn’t respond, I did further research which led me to find he had passed. Gary looked forward to visiting us in Clear Lake and tried to make it up at least once, maybe twice a year. He was right on time in sending my children birthday and Christmas cards. He loved driving around Clear Lake to see the sights and the changes since his last visit. He also loved being included in our family outings; especially meals at Perkins!! His favorite! We will miss Gary and his great kindness. May his loved ones find comfort in fond memories. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Gary and I dated as teenagers. He found me many years later and would come visit me in Iowa once a year in late summer. I didn’t hear from him, and now I know why. How can I find out how he passed?
