    Jerry’s smile was contagious

He was fun to be around and I have many happy memories.   He taught me a lot about cars and racing. I hope heaven has a racetrack.  We love you brother. He will be missed by many.

Jerry, Santa, Joyce and Francis came to Las Vegas when Kenny and I got married. Jerry kept telling me not to marry Kenny because the Austin men were pains in the butt. He was right! But marrying Kenny and getting into this family was one of the best decisions I ever made. Jerry was a wonderful brother in law. He was funny and Jerry could tell a great story! He sure had a lot of them from his truck driving days. Jerry had a heart of gold. He will be missed so much !!

Sandra, I am so sorry for your loss. I truly enjoyed the time I was able to spend with Jerry.
As a teenager he taught me so much about automobile mechanics.
You are in my thoughts and prayers, I love you.

My dad was the strongest most head strong man I’ve ever known. He was larger than life to me. He was my hero. I’ve always been very proud to be a Austin but even prouder to be my father’s son. I’ll love him and miss him always and aspire to be at least half the man my dad was.

So many fun times in different places. Being a pilot car was a great way to meet great people. Which Jerry was a great person. I will miss him. He would call at different times and remember all the good times and places we went to. Bless you Sandy
