Jerry Donald Harvey, 74, of Jacksonville passed away on June 14, 2020. He was born in Carlisle, Arkansas on April 16, 1946 to the late Ferd and Mirtie (Reed) Harvey.
He was a proud, independent man who was loving and devoted to his family and friends. He loved fishing, hunting, watching cowboy shows, painting and doing artwork. Jerry was always working and was always outside.
He is preceded in death by his dog Bo; his four brothers and his five sisters.
Jerry leaves behind the love of his life and wife of over 56 years, Sandra Sue (Osborn); his children Troy Harvey, Shelly Harvey, and Darin Harvey (Tannie); his grandchildren Kristen Harvey-Counts (Darius), Kody Harvey (Haley), Cody Harvey, Hannah Harvey, Aubrey Harvey and Alexa Harvey; his great-grandchildren Jude Counts, Kade Harvey, Jayde Counts and one on the way; two brothers; his dog Chipper; many extended family and friends.
Memorial service will be on Friday, June 19, 2020, at 2:00 P.M. at A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas.
In light of the current health concerns, Jerry’s family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers if you are not able to attend the service. Please be aware, as per Arkansas directives, there will be a limit of 50 guests, all guests over age 10 must wear a face covering to attend and social distancing guidelines will be in place. If you do not feel comfortable attending the service the funeral home will be doing a live streaming on Facebook.
