Tyler Alan Helton, 26

Tyler Alan Helton, 26, of Sherwood, passed away May 30, 2020. He was born August 22, 1993 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Paul Alan Helton and Brandi Melissa Helton.

Tyler enjoyed fishing, golfing, 4-wheeler riding, basketball, playing pool, and hunting. He above all was excited to be planning for the birth of his first child.

Tyler was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Richard C. Smith and Tommie Del Smith; and paternal grandmother Rita Sue Helton.

Tyler leaves behind his father Paul Alan Helton (Pam); mother Brandi Melissa Helton (Chris); sister Tiffany Leigh Helton; love of his life Brandi Nacol Sticklin; un-born first child due November 2020 “Peanut”; paternal grandfather Dale Helton, Sr; uncles Dale Helton, Jr, Mike Smith (Jennifer), and Kevin Smith (Carla); cousins Kylie Smith, Hailey Smith, and Jordan Smith; and many other family and friends to carry on his memory.

Tyler’s Visitation will be Wednesday, June 3rd from 4:30-6pm at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Memorial Service will follow at 6pm.

In light of the current health situation, Tyler’s family asks that anyone who is feeling ill to please refrain from attending services and the family will be grateful for your thoughts and prayers; for those who do not wish to attend due to health concerns, the family understands. Please be aware, as per Arkansas directives, there will be a limit of 50 guests, all guests over age 10 must wear a face covering to attend and social distancing guidelines will be in place.

Tyler’s family is requesting memorials be made in his memory to Brandi Stricklin at Eagle Bank on Kiehl Avenue in Sherwood, Arkansas.

    I’ll always remember the summer Tyler went to St. Louis with our Girl Scout troop. He was the only boy with 20 girls that had just completed the 5th grade. He was so much fun. His smile was infectious. I pray that God will strengthen you during the very difficult time.

He was a very kind and sweet young man that we know that you were proud of. RIP Tyler and God Bless. You will be missed dearly by many.
