Edward Bryant Owen, age 63

Edward Bryant Owen, age 63, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away on Friday June 30, 2020.

He was born November 6, 1956 in Memphis, Tennessee to William Henry Owen and Mary Sue Parker-Owen.

Edward proudly served in the US Navy and for the past 30 plus years has be serving as a RN with Baptist Hospital.  He was a very talented patriotic man who loved the art of Nursing, playing the guitar and listening to music.

He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Sue Parker-Owen.

Edward is survived by his wife Sharon Hale-Head, a son Luke Owen, two step-daughters; Samantha Head, and Katrina Duncan, a step-son James Dillon, five grandchildren; Allie Joe Dillon, Scarlet Dillon, Timothy John “T.J.” Duncan, Serenity Duncan,and Phillip Dillion, his father, William Henry Owen, two brothers; Jimmy Owen, and Teddy Owen and a host of other family and friends.

Cremation arrangements are under trusted direction of A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas, 72076. 501-982-3400.

    He was a great man 👨 and a very funny 😄 one at that. He was always there for the grandchildren. He will be missed and loved deeply.

    So sorry to hear of Ed’s passing. Ed was a very kind and caring nurse. Always enjoyed his sense of humor as well. Prayers for his family

    I really enjoyed working with Ed on the 2nd floor at Baptist Rehab. He was fun loving and truly cared for his patients. My thought and prayers go out to his family.
