Oran Steven Nease, age 72

Oran Steven Nease, 72, of Cabot passed away on August 16, 2020.  He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on May 13, 1948 to the late Oran Coolidge and Peggy Ann (Charles) Nease.

He was a loving man who proudly served in the United States Navy, that structure and military style stayed with Oran even after he left the service. He was a member of the local American Legion. He loved to visit with people and never met a stranger. He loved to keep a well-manicured lawn, working outside and loved to paint.

He is preceded in death by his aunt Marcy Nease and uncle Tommy Nease.

Oran leaves behind his loving companion Wonice Nease; his children Ashley Bowmaster (Jason) and Steven Nease; his grandchildren Bailey Bowmaster, Faith Wetzler, Peyton Nease, and Callie Nease; his sister Donna Gantie (Ross) and many extended family and friends.

    Sorry that he is no longer with us. He was always very friendly and kind to me and my daughter Ashley. A very handsome man we have lost. Condolences to Wonice,. Ashley, his daughter, and Donna his sister whom I had met.

    Steve was a real good person. When we had yard sales he would ride his scooter to our sale. We loved to talk about a little if everything. May God comfort each of you in the family. You will be in our thoughts and prayers
