Charles Patton, age 92

Charles Patton, age 92, of Mayflower, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2020.  He was born on June 12, 1928.

Charlie Patton was a Veteran; he enjoyed his time in the Army and he loved his country and was proud of his service. Originally from Maine, Charlie moved to Arkansas in 2005. He loved the beauty of Arkansas. He was a great story teller, and made friends easily. He was a man of honor; it did not take you long to realize that he was a good man. He was as member of the Gap Mission Church, where he found the family that he longed for. He would drop anything and everything if he was needed by his many friends.

He is survived by his long-time friend and caregiver Pamela Faulkner.

Charlie was the Grandpa I never had. He would drop anything and everything if he was needed by his many friends. I will not say goodbye, instead I will say until I see you again, my friend ,you will never be far from my mind and heart.

    Mr. Charles will be missed at Harps. He was a great man. It was always a pleasure to see and talk to him.
