Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Phyllis Schwoch, age 67

Phyllis Schwoch, age 67, of Conway passed away on October 12, 2020.

Phyllis was born in Marianna to Arthes Ray Huff & Jennie Bell Huff on March 11, 1953.  Phyllis graduated from Metropolitan High School and later received her LPN degree from Northark Technical Center.

Phyllis is preceded in death by her father Arthes Ray Huff, mother Jennie Bell Brown Huff, sister Barbara Grile and brothers Donald & Ronald Huff.

Phyllis is survived by her son Raymond Michael (Leann) Schwoch, her daughter Rebecca (John) Lemmons, her sister Katherine Armstrong, brother Charles (Jada) Huff, 4 nieces, 2 nephews & several great nieces & nephews.  Phyllis is also the proud grandmother to Brady Schwoch and great-grandmother to Lucy Schwoch.

Phyllis loved the song “I Hope you Dance” and often told her children to remember those lyrics and to remember to enjoy life to the fullest.  As a young girl she often entertained her family with song and dance and when she became a Mom, she continued this tradition by singing and dancing around the house with her children until any bad mood turned around.   Her favorite song to sing at karaoke was “The Rose.”

Phyllis was a long-term caregiver both as a nurse and later in life by caring for her mother and brother Donald.  She loved all of the time she had with family and we know she is rejoicing with those who proceeded her today.  She was the type of nurse who became part of the family and has remaining in long-time contact with many she worked with.

I am so very sorry to read about Phyllis’ passing! We had just had a very long & precious visit over the phone a few weeks ago! She was the most loving, caring & forgiving person that I’ve ever known. My heart goes out to Raymond & Rebecca…though we never met, your Momma spoke of you often & her grandbabies. I’m grateful that my brother, Mark, straightened his life out & that he & Phyllis made amends. May God hold you close as you journey this earthly life without her. We all know she is at peace & in God’s presence…& happy, whole, & being the sweetest angel in his realm!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼♥️♥️♥️
