Joyce Laverne Miller, age 72

Joyce Laverne Miller, age 72, of Carlisle passed away on November 20, 2020.  She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on April 7, 1948 to the late Houston Lee and Reba Lou (Lunsford) Taylor.

She was a loving mother and Nanny.  She loved her family and quilting. She owned Country Quilts in Star City, Arkansas.

She is preceded in death by her sisters Maggie Snyder, and Mary Robertson; her brothers Dewey Taylor, and Paul Taylor; and her daughter Greta Miller. She was also the loving widow to her husbands, Buck Miller and Jimmy Adams.

Joyce leaves behind her loving kids Ken Miller, Houston Miller (Patricia), Rebecca Gillespie (Tony), Betty Miller and Mary Beth Taylor (Buddy); her 15 babies, Ashley Canada, Stoney Jackson, Christal Griffin, Colt Miller, Myranda Mobley, Emily Miller, Tyler Gillespie, Samantha Patton, Kaylee Carter, Matthew Parker, Kadence McCawley, Garrett McCawley, Faith Taylor, Rachel Taylor and Courtney Taylor; her 11 great-grandbabies, Kasey Jackson, Stoney Jackson, Jr., Christon Calvin, Steven Baker, Hadley McKenzie, Ayden Patton, Sawyer Patton, Lillianne Miller, Dominick Mobley, Natalie Mobley and Elliot Mobley; her siblings Johnny Taylor, Sue Williams and Betty French; a host of extended family and friends.

In light of the current health concerns, Joyce’s family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers if you are not able to attend the service. Please be aware, as per Arkansas directives, attendance will be regulated in accordance to Arkansas guidelines, all guests in attendance will be required to wear masks/facial coverings and social distancing guidelines will be in place.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas.  Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 27, 2020 at 10:00 AM at A Natural State Funeral Service, Jacksonville, Arkansas with burial at Old Carlisle Cemetery, Carlisle, Arkansas.
