Randy Gerald “Jerry” Young, age 73

Randy Gerald “Jerry” Young, age 73, of Alexander, Arkansas passed away on November 13, 2020. He was born in Batesville, Arkansas on June 21, 1947 to the late Henry V. Young and Oma Jean Smith-Young.

Gerald proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War and loved his country.  He was a Christian and loved Christmas time. He enjoyed going to deer camp with his buddies, and going to California to visit and hunt with his son Edward. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his brother John Faucett and sister in-law Renee of Searcy, two nephews; Jonathan Faucett, and Jason Faucett; his niece, Brittney Long and her husband Michael and their daughter JoLee as well as his close friend Cecil Tollett.

Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, and his only son Edward Magoch. 

In light of the current health concerns, Gerald’s family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers if you are not able to attend the service. Please be aware, as per Arkansas directives, attendance will be regulated in accordance to Arkansas guidelines, all guests in attendance will be required wear masks/facial coverings and social distancing guidelines will be in place.

A Family hosted Inurnment with honors will be held at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock, Arkansas on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Noon.

    A close friend and hunting buddy and someone I respected greatly . He will always be remembered and forever missed.

      Would like to know if Jerry was in Security Police. I went thru Security Police training with. Jerry Young in 1965
