Connie Elizabeth Steele, 56

Connie Elizabeth Steele, 56, of Jacksonville passed away on Monday, November 30, 2020. She was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas on June 1, 1964 to the late Johnny Collins and Bonnie Lou Smith.

She was a loving wife, mother, and sister who loved spending time with her family, Connie also loved to play board games, card games, making crafts, loved scrapbooking, and yard sales. She also loved Jesus, crosses, and Angles. Connie attended The Church of Christ. She enjoyed hosting birthday parties, and making everyone happy.

Connie is preceded in death by her parents Johnny Collins and Bonnie Lou Smith.

She leaves behind her loving ex-husband and friend of 42 years, John Steele; her children Keith Steele (Krystal), Nick Steele (Michelle), and Theresa Steele; grandchildren Elijah Steele, Marilyn Steele, Korben Steele, and Kevin Steele; her siblings Sandra Goodnight (Dennis), Becky Faulhaber, and Amy Allen (Chris); and many more family and friends.

In light of the current health concerns, Connie’s family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers if you are not able to attend the service. Please be aware, as per Arkansas directives, attendance will be regulated in accordance to Arkansas guidelines, all guests in attendance will be required to wear masks/facial coverings and social distancing guidelines will be in place.

Memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at 3:00 PM at A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas. 501-982-3400.

    Keith tessa Nick and of course john I’m so sorry for your loss. Your mom and I worked at Knights together she was a wonderful loving person and a great friend..tessa I remember going to the hospital and holding you. That was many years ago. Just remember your mom loved you all so very much.!!!! My thoughts and prayers are with you all

    I miss you every second of every day mommy. Thank you for being the best YOU possible. Through heartbreak, sickness, hospital stays, all of it you remained the definition of strength and never lost your faith. I hope it’s everything you want and more up there. I love you mommy. ❤️
