Diane Lynn Lavender, age 72

Diane Lynn Lavender, 72, of McRae, passed away December 2, 2020. She entered into this world on September 13, 1948 to Carl and Ella Davis (Berg).

Diane was a mother to so many and affectionately known as “Momma Diane”. She loved ceramics and painting, and chickens. Diane always put family first and was a strong woman and a fighter.

Diane is preceded in death by her two brothers David and Ronnie; sister Helen; daughter Tabathia Lynn Ezell; and granddaughter Brittney Diane Layton.

Diane leaves behind her loving husband of 46 years James Wayne Lavender; son Wesley Shannon Ezell (Karla) and grandchildren Karrissa Knight, Tabitha Jones, Isaac Ezell, and Molley Ezell; daughter Mirenda Denice Bargar and grandchildren Kristen Clark, Austin Rodgers, Madison Rodgers, and Kamden Bargar; nine great grandchildren; and many other family and friends to carry on and cherish her memory.

    Wayne, Mindy and Wesley. So sorry for your loss. Diane was a very good friend of mine for many years. I am so sorry I wasn’t there to talk to her or check on her. She will be missed! Mama Diane, you were the best!!

    Diane was a very sweet person we went to school together. She will be missed . We didn’t see each other much but I will always remember her a special place in my heart.

    My kids John and Erin were two of Diane’s babies. She was so much more than a baby sitter, she truly loved all of the babies that she kept over the years and they sure loved her. She will be missed by so many.

    I will miss her I am her brother Leonard daughter and I will miss her and I am sorry for the loss im going to miss her and I love u uncle Wayne miss the family
