Eladio was born on February 18th, 1947 in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico to Zeferino Jauregui and Maria Gomez. Eladio grew up in Km 43 Guadalupe Victoria and at about 14-15 years old he went to Cañadas de Obregon, Jalisco, Mexico to care for a sick brother.

At 16 years old Lalo moved to Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico to live with his Aunt Lucina Gomez Lomeli. At age 23 he met, as he would always say, the love of his life, Maria Jauregui. They married two years later in 1975 and moved to the United States in 1979.

Throughout his whole life, Eladio became a man of many trades including: Jeweler, handyman, mechanic, auto body detailer/painter and many more. Eladio lived to serve his family, God and his community in many ways. Anyone who met Eladio has their own, usually funny, story about him and how he made a positive impact on their lives.

He was a God-fearing man, was part of the Arkansas Lay Missionaries and took pride in helping the church in any way he could. He definitely leaves an empty space in everyone’s life that had the privilege to meet him.
