Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Wilma Ruth Robertson Owen, age 82

Wilma Ruth Robertson Owen, 82, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, peacefully passed on December 27, 2020.  Wilma was the daughter of Herman and Lorene Robertson.  She was reunited with her parents, late husband Forrest Owen, son Steven Owen, and her eldest sister Lucy Meredith.

She spent her working years first as a military wife and mother, then closing loans for various mortgage companies, and finally as an avid shopper on a never-ending hunt for bargains.  She brought enormous light, joy and if she could, home cooked food to all that she met.  She will be loved, missed and remembered always for her loving heart, generous spirit, and mischievous sense of humor.

She is survived by her son Gary Owen (Sharon), her grandchildren Chris Owen (Christie), Stephen Owen, Andrew Owen (Aaliyah), Erinn Owen (Derrick), Matthew Owen, Nathaniel Owen (Chad), David Perdue (Stacey) and nine great-grandchildren; her siblings Betty Hogue, Ann Hamilton (Ed), Patsy Poe, Dick Robertson (Judy), Kay Harris (Patrick), Fay Dobbins (Lex), and Michael Robertson (Sandi), too many nieces and nephews to count, and her church family at Oak Grove Church of Christ.

In remembrance of Wilma Ruth Owen, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

Graveside service will be on Friday, January 8, 2021, at 12:00 PM at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 West Maryland, North Little Rock, Arkansas.

Arrangements are entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas. Online guestbook available at www.anaturalstatefuneralservice.com
