Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Ashley Rae (Alvers) Booker, 26

Ashley Rae (Alvers) Booker, 26, of Cabot, passed away on January 15, 2021. She was born in Jacksonville, AR to  Russell and Melisa (Oakley) Alvers.

Ashley grew up in Cabot, AR where she attended school and later was a proud recipient of her GED from Lonoke.  She was always full of compassion and love from the time she was little till her last days. Ashley loved being outdoors, whether it was coaching her sons t-ball team or hanging out at the ball fields and hiking in the state parks. Ashley loved being surrounded by family and friends all the time. Her life had taken many ups and downs with plenty of the long ways, but that only drove her to seek better. Her story is not over, she is a proud mother of a son and a believer of GOD and would share her story with anyone and everyone. From the love she displayed to others and the love she selflessly gave; it did not touch the unconditional love she had for her son. Her life is a lesson of perseverance and genuineness. If she knew someone needed to talk or a shoulder to lean on, she would be there. Her legacy will continue to live with all the lives she touched during her life.

Ashley is preceded in death by her grandparents, Raymond and Peggy Alvers, Mary Loyd, Bill Oakley. She is survived by her son, Carson, her parents, Russell and Melisa Alvers, her sister Tanya Biggs, two nephews Jaxson and Briar and several aunts, uncles, cousin, and a host of friends.

A family hosted celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076. 501-982-3400

Melisa and Family, We are so very sorry for your loss. No words can be said to take the pain away from losing a loved one. I know none of this makes sense and it just doesn’t seem like the way things should happen. Keep in mind that God has a plan for us all and we have to keep our faith in knowing his plan is THE Grand Plan.
Hopefully you all can find peace in knowing that Ashley is in a better place and free from any more pain and suffering; She will always be with you.
You all have a huge network of friends to lean on in this time of need; just holler if we can do anything. Thoughts and prayers with all of you. Take Care and may God bless you all. Bodie Travis

Russell and Melisa, From the bottom of our hearts we are sorry for the loss of Ashly. Over the past years we have watched Asley as she grew from a small child to an awesome young adult. I feel fortunate to have watched her on life’s roller coaster ride where no matter how low it took her she always made it back to the top, and always pulled someone to the top with her. Her short life here on earth will be long lived through other people she has influenced and mentored and you can be assured God is using her in heaven. God bless you and we are here for you.
