Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Brian Drew Madsen, age 68

Brian Drew Madsen, age 68, of Conway passed away on Monday, January 4, 2021. He was born in Exira, Iowa on December 31, 1952 to the late Arthur and Norma Madsen.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Brian grew up working in construction with his dad, and continued the trade through his life. His love and devotion for family was unwavering till the very end. He was the best father, grandpa, husband, and caretaker one could ask for. We can rejoice, he is in heaven being reunited with his son, his parents, sisters, and brothers. He will be missed by many. Anytime I hear someone say “ya know what I mean” I’m sure that that will be a sign from him.

Brian is preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Norma Madsen; son Randy Madsen; and sisters Sondra and Monta Bahus; brothers Art Madsen and Perry Madsen.

He leaves behind his wife of 46 years, Toni Irene Gonzales Madsen; daughter Brandy Hardcastle (Sean); grandchildren Dylan Madsen, Garret Hardcastle, and Mikaela Curtis; great-grandchildren Braylynn, and Brooke; siblings Bob Madsen (Janet), Brenda Parker, Doug Madsen (Deb), Nancy Cascardo, Connie Hempstead, Doyle Madsen, Kelly Madsen, and Mark Madsen; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas, 72076.  501-982-3400

I just had a good conversation with Brian when I first saw him on FB, so I am very saddened by this news. I was a classmate of Brian’s. Many memories of Brian from high school & confirmation class. He was an ornery one and well liked!! Our sympathy & prayers to the family. Fly high with the angels, my friend!

Brian and I sang Happy Birthday to each other for 40 years.. I could not ask for a better brother in law. He kept in touch with me with the passing of my wife, his sister Monta. He kept me laughing , you know what I mean!
