Julie D. Babb, 73

Julie D. Babb, 73, of Jacksonville, passed away January 7, 2021. She was born March 11, 1947 in Jacksonville, Arkansas to Cleo Cavender and Martha Parker (Cavender).

Julie was a member of Landmark Baptist Church.

Julie preceded in death by her parents; husband Dennis Babb; and daughter Stacey Rowe.

Julie is survived by her children Michelle Talley (James) of Cabot and Samantha Miller (Terry) of Cabot; eight grandchildren James, Joseph, Heather, T.J., Sarah, Jodie, Jacob and Jordan; three great-grandchildren Dennis, Phoebe and Phoenix; brothers Rickey Cavender (Lois) of Cabot and David Cavender (Melissa) of Jacksonville; and many other family and friends.

Julie’s visitation will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2021 from 6-8pm at A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street in Jacksonville. Funeral Service will be Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 1:30pm at A Natural State Funeral Service with entombment to follow at Griffin-Leggett Rest Hills Memorial Park.

In light of the current health concerns, Julie’s family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers if you are not able to attend the service. Please be aware, as per Arkansas directives, attendance will be regulated in accordance to Arkansas guidelines, all guests in attendance will be required to wear masks/facial coverings and social distancing guidelines will be in place.

    Judy was my life long friend.She was my brides maid at my wedding in 1964.She was a character of her own little world She dated my Brother,Lonnie Thornton when we were in school.I will miss her forever in my life but she was a huge spot in my life.
