Leucretia Emmagene McMoran, age 89

Leucretia Emmagene McMoran, 89, of Scott passed away on January 7, 2021.  She was born in Mayflower, Arkansas on December 16, 1931 to the late Andy Wheeler and Eunice (Hackler) Wheeler.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.  She loved to go to the Sherwood Senior Center, where she loved to play bingo, cards, dominos and was a member of the “Spinner Ladies” every Tuesday night. She enjoyed making candy with her family and her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband Harold McMoran, her son Bill Rodney Fletcher, her great-granddaughter AmyJo Conklin, great-grandson Austin O’Barr, sister Allene Bridges, brother Buddy Wheeler and son-in-law Johnny O’Barr.

Jean leaves behind her loving daughters Jeannie Conklin (Duane) and Linda O’Barr; her grandchildren Jeana (John), Melody, Dennis (Starla), Jeffery, Samantha (Anthony), Bronson, Kelly, Claude, John (Tracy), and Cindy; her sister Katherine Huffmaster; a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Memorials can be made to Arkansas Hospice, 14 Sandstone Circle, North Little Rock, Arkansas.  72118.

In light of the current health concerns, Leucretia’s family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers if you are not able to attend the visitation. Please be aware, as per Arkansas directives, attendance will be regulated in accordance to Arkansas guidelines, all guests in attendance will be required wear masks/facial coverings and social distancing guidelines will be in place.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas.  501-982-3400.
