Louise Virgena Shirley, age 73

Louise Virgena Shirley, 73, of Jacksonville passed away on January 8, 2021 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born on December 9, 1947 to the late Joseph McDonald and Lucile (Williams) McDonald.
She loved reading especially romance novels and playing games on her computer. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed. She worked for many years as a cna and enjoyed helping others.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Tamatha Lynn Keys, 2 sons Joseph Harrison Shirley and Thomas Ray Shirley, and granddaughter Crystal Gale Williams.
Louise leaves behind her husband of 38 years Lloyd Thompson, son Roy Shirley (Terry) of Marianna, daughter Elizabeth Shirley of Jacksonville, 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, sisters Edna Hudson of Indiana, Maxine Lee of Florida, and brothers Joe McDonald of Arkansas, Richard McDonald of Missouri, and Roy Whitaker of Arkansas, long time great friend Joyce Rogers, 4 fur babies as well as her special fur baby CoCo, and many extended friends and family.
A family hosted celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

    I never got to meet you in person, but I did get to know you through Facebook and Messenger. The stories you shared with me about my father (your brother) will always hold a special place in my heart. May you rest in peace Aunty.
