Loyie Harrison, age 78

Loyie Harrison, age 78, passed away on January 30, 2021. He was born May 13, 1942 in Stuttgart, Arkansas to Arnold Harrison and Essie Jones.

Loyie was a member of Shannon Hills Baptist Church.

Loyie is preceded in death by his parents Arnold and Essie Harrison; brothers J.W. Harrison, Arba Ray Harrison, Carroll “Tex” Harrison, and Darrell “Buddy” Harrison; and sisters Ida Mae Jorner, and Nancy Hayes.

Loyie leaves behind his children Brenda Graham, Jeff Harrison, Kelly Harrison, Tina Harrison, Sheila Harrison, Layla Talley, and Brandon Harrison; 23 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; brothers Faburn Harrison, Jimmy Harrison, Bobby Harrison, and Robby Harrison; sister Glenda Woodard; and many other family and friends.

Loyie’s Memorial Service will be Wednesday, February 3, 2021 from 6:00-8:00pm at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville.

In light of the current health concerns, Loyie’s family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers if you are not able to attend the service. Please be aware, as per Arkansas directives, attendance will be regulated in accordance to Arkansas guidelines, all guests in attendance will be required to wear masks/facial coverings and social distancing guidelines will be in place.

    I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories.

    Prayers for his family and friends. Loyie was a wonderful man and friend. Everyone loved him. He is in the arms of Jesus now pain free. Praying God comforts his family in the days to come.

    To the family, Loyie was loved by many and will always be in my heart. He was a jewel, great friend and would help anyone that asked. He leaves us all with amazing memories…..Go rest on high and save me a seat…Love you!!!

    Daddy I am missing you so very much. It is definitely hard with you gone now but I told you we would all be okay and I meant that. You just wrap your loving arms around us now and keep us safe until we meet again I love you very much.
