Lydia was an amazing friend to me through Second Baptist Church and during our high school years. We had such fun hanging out and I was always in awe of her talents from singing to making wonderful handmade things. Dear David, Katherine, Adam, and family, Just as Jesus told the thief on the cross in Luke 23:43 “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise”; when Lydia ended her struggle in the flesh on earth, she too went to be with Jesus in paradise. I Thessalonians 4:13 says “But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope”.I pray these promises from God’s word will bless and comfort you. We love you guys, Al and Wanda English & family

Lydia was one of those special gems that God shares with us. As a parent of her wonderful children whom I had the pleasure to teach, to a friend who made all the flowers for my wedding, Lydia was there for you with a smile on her face. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
