Orville Lee “Rebel” “Pappy” Payton, 60, passed away January 23, 2021. He was born September 25, 1960 in Kansas City, Kansas to Orville E. Payton and Avie Jacie Brand.

Lee loved his girls so very much. His wife, kids, and grandkids, were his life. He was always dressed very sharply. Lee’s second love was trucking and motorcycles. He was a trucker for over 40 years, and worked with Moorhead’s Trucking and Paytons Trucking for his last years of trucking. He was a life time member of the Brotherhood of Chicken Haulers, Twizted Mindz, and Mizfitx 365 motorcycle clubs. Lee enjoyed watching Hallmark movies with his girls, and kicking with his son. ..

Orville is preceded in death by father Orville Payton; mother and stepfather Avie and Joe Shellnutt; brother-in-law Hollis Boone; and fellow truckdriver and friend Michael Doyle.

Orville leaves behind his wife Jamie Payton; children Clayton Russell, Dusty Payton (Trisha), Shelly Bradshaw (Al), Laura Payton, and Leland Golf; grandchildren Joshua, Clayton, Tyler, Samantha, Trista, Paislee, and Hollee; sister Jacie Perrine (Wayne); and many other loving family and friends.

Orville Visitation will be Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 1:00-2:00pm at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville. Funeral Service will follow at 2:00pm.

In light of the current health concerns, Orville’s family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers if you are not able to attend the service. Please be aware, as per Arkansas directives, attendance will be regulated in accordance to Arkansas guidelines, all guests in attendance will be required to wear masks/facial coverings and social distancing guidelines will be in place.

    Lee was a good neighbor and friend. I will miss seeing him out in the yard this spring and summer.

    Lee was an amazing man. He never met a stranger. He welcome any and everyone with open arms. He will be greatly missed.
