Patricia Ann (Stanton) Formby

Ann passed away peacefully in her home on January 28, 2021, surrounded by her
loving family. She was born September 18, 1949 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She was
preceded in death by her parents, Vernon Morris Stanton and Patsy Louise (Quinn)
Stanton, and her brother Vernon DeWayne Stanton.

Ann was the wife of her loving and devoted husband of 54 years, Forrest Glenn
Formby. She was the loving Mother of Kenneth Wayne Formby (wife Mona), Charyl
Renea Formby, Cindy Lynn Meyer, and Teresa Kay Bledsoe; proud Grandmother of
Jayce Lea (wife Riley), Crystin Main (husband Jonathan), Blake Meyer, Summer
Simpson (husband Lane), Sunny Formby, Kimberly Bledsoe, and Stewart Bledsoe; and
the doting Great-grandmother of Reece Lea, Jenny Lea, JoyAnna Main, Tiffany Main

She was the Matriarch of her close loving family. She loved to fish, especially for sharks
in Panama City Beach, FL. But, most of all she loved to spend quality time with her
family and share her vast knowledge of cooking and sewing with them. She loved to
cook, play Texas hold ‘em and sew. She especially loved to make quilts and give them
away.

She was called Mom or Nana to all of her Family and Friends all over this nation.
She was a graduate of SEARK, a campaign coordinator for March of Dimes, President
of Bass and Gal’s Bass Club, Jaycee wife, and the head of Musgrove Road Morning
Coffee Club. She enjoyed the time spent selling jewelry at Selma Schloss Jewelry
Store. The job that she enjoyed the most was driving the shuttle at the Arkansas State
Capitol during Legislative session and loved the time spent chatting and sharing her
thoughts with all of her riders.
