Bertha Catherine Henderson, age 74

Bertha Catherine Henderson, age 74, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born on May 24, 1946 in Little Rock to the late Wilson Roe Roushall and Opal I Harris.

She loved shopping with her sister Linda, and she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Bertha is preceded in death by her parents Wilson Roe Roushall and Opal I Harris; and two brothers Larry Roushall and Jerry Rhode and a sister Zelma Maxenberger.

She will be missed by her husband Lester Henderson; children Alan Polk, and Kristi Beck (Eric) ; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; siblings George Rhodes, and Linda Uekman; and many more family members and friends.

    Bert was my friend at Sliver Sneakers and she will be missed. She always at a smile and a hug.

    We go back a long way- back to her days of bowling at the Professor Bowl. Having lost contact with her, imagine my surprise when we reconnected at the Bishop Center in Bryant. She was a regular fixture and always had a friendly word and a smile on her face. She will definitely be missed.

    She was a member in my SilverSneakers class! She was always ready to exercise, always ready to help in anyway and always had a smile on her face. She will be greatly missed!!!

I know u r at peace now and no more pain . im gonna miss my weekly text from u and u always picked the right card to send me fir the way I was feeling at that moment. Thank u for teaching me every thing I need to be a mom , a granny. & a wife to Eric. Ur the best mom a daughter could have ever asked for .
