Bruce Everett Hornsby, age 77

Bruce Everett Hornsby, 77, of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed away from this life on February 4, 2021. Bruce was born in Rayne, Louisiana on July 18, 1943 to the late Emmett Hornsby and Della (Mosley ) Hornsby.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Laura Hornsby, his children Bruce Jason Hornsby (Courtney) and Laura Trotter French (Brian); his grandchildren Laura Wilson, Mary Katherine, Allison Grace, Ragan Nathaniel, and Collin Walker. He also leaves behind one brother Robert ( Loretta) and one sister Betty , and a host of extended family and friends.

Bruce enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family. Bruce Honorably served in the United States Navy, then worked for the Cotton Belt Railroad and later retired from the Arsenal in Pine Bluff. Bruce will be missed by all that knew him.

A family hosted graveside memorial will be held at 3:00PM on March 6, 2021 at Crestview Memorial Park in Hot Springs. Arrangements are entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas, 72076. 501-982-3400.

    Laura, I am sorry for your loss. My wife and I have been hit hard by covid. She had alzheimers and covid escallated her disease. We are homebound at this point. Will be praying for you and your family.

    Very sorry to hear about Bruce, I have many great memories of hunting along the Saline river with Bruce and Mack..Bruce always had a smile and easy going nature that will be missed (one of the really good guys!!)
