We will truly miss seeing Carl on Sundays and giving him a big hug! Even with Carl’s situation with his eyes and everything he still kept his eyes on the Lord . The times that Carl would allow Steve and I to take him home or pick up to take to or from church it was always about blessings for the Lord and sometimes a bit of insight. I’m grateful that he was in my life even if it was for a short while .Cornerstone Bible fellowship church we truly miss him and we know that he is sitting at the feet of Our Heavenly Father! He can see very clearly now! hallelujah hallelujah praise the Lord

For many years, we would see Carl walking to church Sunday mornings, holding his bible and looking as if he was in prayer. No weather would stop him from joining with other believers. Eventually, Carl had to change churches and began coming to Cornerstone, our church. He even began to let families pick him up and take him home. Our church embraced him and loved him! His will be missed.

Carl was a very kind soul. Although set in his ways, he made a memorable impression with my family. He was one of initial people who introduced himself to us when our family joined CBF. And, he made a point to give our son words of encouragement regarding his struggles with his sleep disorder for they both had the same condition. It was kindhearted of him tell our son, “who cares if people laugh at you, be proud of who you are, because God will always take care of you as He’s done for me.” May your family be comforted by knowing that Carl’s a little closer to being in the presence of our Savior, Jesus.

I had the privilege of giving Carl rides to and from church. I admired his diligence of walking to church each Sunday no matter the weather. Please know he will be missed.
